Overview

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a 13-day legendary journey taking you right into the pulsing heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, a high glacial basin surrounded by spectacular towering peaks. Unlike other mountain regions, the Annapurna area provides an incredible ecological diversity, transitioning from lush subtropical forests filled with blooming rhododendrons, up to the high alpine meadows and glaciers. Starting from the beautiful lake city of Pokhara, we wind our way through terraced rice paddies, traditional Gurung and Magar villages, and cross numerous roaring rivers. Along the way, the famous pre-dawn hike up Poon Hill rewards you with an unmatched panoramic sunrise over the entire Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountain ranges. From there, we venture deeper into the narrow Modi Khola gorge, ascending steadily into the sanctuary itself. Standing at Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m), you are instantly enveloped by a near-vertical 360-degree amphitheater of snow-capped mountains. Watching the golden sunrise slowly illuminate the colossal summit of Annapurna I (8,091m) and Machapuchare (Fishtail Peak) is a profoundly moving experience. On the return journey, a well-deserved soak in the natural hot springs at Jhinu Danda provides the perfect remedy for your tired trekking muscles before concluding this epic 13-day adventure.
  • Stand triumphantly at the Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m), completely surrounded by towering, vertical peaks
  • Enjoy unparalleled, sweeping sunrise views from Poon Hill (3,210m) over the massive Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges
  • Trek through charming, culturally rich Gurung and Magar villages like Ulleri and Sinuwa
  • Relax your tired muscles in the natural, soothing hot springs nestled by the river at Jhinu Danda
  • Experience incredible ecological diversity, moving from sub-tropical forests to an alpine glacial basin
