Welcome to Alpine Aura Trek. By booking a trip with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure you understand your commitments as well as ours.
1. Booking and Payments
To secure a booking, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total trip cost is required per person. The remaining balance must be paid upon your arrival in Kathmandu, before the departure of your trek or tour. We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and cash.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing. The 20% deposit is non-refundable. For further details on our refund structure regarding the remaining balance, please refer to our Refund Policy.
3. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all clients joining our treks. Your policy must cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, and helicopter rescue operations at high altitudes (up to 6,000m or higher depending on the trek).
4. Health and Fitness
Trekking in the Himalayas requires a good level of physical fitness. It is your responsibility to inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions or disabilities that might affect your ability to travel. Our guides reserve the right to decline your participation if they believe you are not fit enough to proceed safely.
5. Itinerary Changes
While we strive to follow the planned itinerary, weather conditions, trail blockages, flight cancellations, or political instability may require route alterations. Alpine Aura Trek is not liable for any additional costs incurred due to such delays or modifications.
6. Risk and Liability
You acknowledge that trekking in remote mountainous regions involves inherent risks, including but not limited to altitude sickness, unpredictable weather, and rugged terrain. Alpine Aura Trek will exercise the utmost care for your safety but shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, death, or loss of property during the trip.
7. Acceptance of Risk
By booking with us, you acknowledge the hazards involved in your chosen trip and accept full responsibility for your participation.
